In 1999 we constructed a world class drawing operation near Monterrey, Mexico, Aceros Trefilados de Precision (ATP). Since its inception, ATP has successfully supplied the cold drawn steel bar requirements for several multi-national corporations with operations throughout Mexico. It currently operates a Schumag IIB combined drawing line and a 50-ton draw bench line.

ATP has proven to be a tremendous asset to Quality Engineered Steels, LLC and the many customers it serves; therefore, we have also focused on developing excellent relationships with new customers. We have been very dedicated to this objective and we have invested significant capital to accommodate current and expected growth in Mexico.

Following is a list of cold drawn steel bar products produced at our facility in Monterrey, Mexico:

Typical Carbon Grades Supplied:  1008, 1010, 1018, 1022, 1025, 1030, 1035, 1038, 1040, 1045, 1050, 1060, 1110, 1117, 1118, 1137, 1141,1151, 1215, 12L14, 1541 - including injected steels.

Typical Alloy Grades Supplied: 4037, 4118, 4140, 5116, 5125, 5160, 8620, 52100, 9254 - including injected steels.
