From its inception, St. Louis Cold Drawn, Inc. has led the industry in quality and efficiency. This tradition has been maintained with extensive research and significant capital investments. In order to test every bar produced, state-of-the-art high-speed testing equipment has been installed on all 9 production lines.

St. Louis Cold Drawn, Inc. / Quality Engineered Steels, LLC has designed and implemented a new manufacturing cell where we cold draw and non-destructively surface test, both mag test (comparative coil method) and roto-bar test (probe method), after two roll straightening.  This provides for a more accurate surface testing procedure without suppression of the test signal during shearing operations.  Any reject bar will be automatically identified and separated by the testing units, leaving only the highest quality cold drawn bars to be shipped to customers.
